What to Expect on Maintenance Plan Program
Important Facts to Know-
- New Customer's may have an additional startup charge for initial cleaning & treatment based upon pool chemistry existing, water conditions, heavy volume of debris and heavy algae. Call to schedule your free site visit and to receive estimate for any services needed.
- Our Chemical Plus Plan & Full Maintenance Plans include backwashing of customer's existing D.E and Sand filters only. Filters on occasion require other servicing. This additional service is not included in the Pool Maintenance Plan and will be an additional fee if required. An estimate will be provided for customer approval prior to any work.
- D.E. Filter requires cleaning at least twice a year as per manufacture specifications.
- Cartridge Filters require cleaning every 3-4 months depending on season, debris and environment
- Residential- Sand Filters require sand change once every 3 to 5 years as per manufacture specifications.
- Commercial- Sand Filters require sand change once every 1 to 2 years as per manufacture specifications.
- Proper filtration and circulation is a vital part of maintaining a pool. Filter pumps must be circulated daily for the proper length of time based upon the time of year. Best rule of thumb is for every 10 degrees it is outside for that day then the pump should run a min. of 1 hr. Example: 80 degrees averg. temp. = 8 hrs. min that the pump should be ran for that day. During the winter months pumps can be circulated less to save money. Example 40 degree avg temp = 4 hrs. min the pump should be ran for that day.
- It is the Customer's responsibility to maintain proper water level in the pool. Quality Pool and Spa Care will not add water to pools on routine pool maintenance. A service door hanger will be left at time of service indicating to please add water.
- Above Maintenance Plan pricing is based upon residential pools >15K gallons. Larger pool size, vegetation conditions, plaster condition and equipment may affect pricing. Call us today for a free quote.
Flexibility of Our Plans-
- Customers can change maintenance plan types at the beginning of any month they choose.
- From October to March of each year we offer a twice a month Full Service Maintenance Plan to existing customers only to help save cost. This is subject to conditions surrounding your pool environment (i.e. heavy leave fall, etc).
